How to (properly) drink whiskey straight
As the popularity of whiskey rises more and more, so do the number of people who disrespect the drink by neglecting to learn how to drink it properly…so, as we always do, we took it upon ourselves to educate the masses.
An Alcohol Profile: Mezcal
Hennessy Ginger Cognac
Most people who enjoy Cognac like to have it straight. The exception, however, almost always, is made for the Hennessy Ginger cocktail. It’s a simple mix of 1 part Hennessy and 2 parts ginger ale. Due to the spice character of this drink, a single lime is encouraged to add some tang to the drink and curl to the tongue.

This cocktail isn’t to be taken lightly. Don’t let the endless array of fruits and flavors fool you, the Hurricane packs a punch, bringing you a well balanced mix of light rum, dark rum, and tropical flavors. Originally crafted in the 40’s by the New Orleans bartender Pat O’Brien.
