A spin off the Old Fashioned cocktail, the Forefather successfully combines the smokiness of bourbon with the sweet-and-bitter combination of peaches and sweet tea. This drink can be enjoyed on the hottest days by the pool in August or when you’re snuggled up under a blanket in February.
What you’ll need:
- 2 oz of Bourbon
- 2 Barspoons Sweet Tea
- 3 dashes Peach Bitters
How to make it:
Now it’s time to make the cocktail. Make sure to have a separate glass for mixing filled with ice. Have your actual drinking filled with ice to chill, leaving the ice for the actual drink is your own choice. The ice in the mixing glass will be left behind to avoid dilution.
- Add all your ingredients into a separate mixing glass with ice
- Stir until the drink is cold
- Strain into a short glass, preferably an old fashioned glass, with new ice leaving the hold ice behind
Woah! You’ve just made a beautiful drink (we won’t judge if you put it on the ‘gram). For quality cocktail ingredients and at home delivery, go to ShopSK.
