Alcohol Shipping & Delivery Policy

By placing an order through ShopSK, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to all Alcohol Shipping & Delivery policies, including age verification, ID scanning and handling, signature requirements, delivery attempts, applicable fees, and restocking charges. Proceeding through checkout constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms.
Requirement

Age Verification

All alcohol purchases require verification that the recipient is at least 21 years of age. A valid government-issued photo ID is required, may be scanned and briefly handled by the delivery driver, and a signature is required upon receipt. Orders will not be released without successful age verification and signature confirmation.

Option 1

In-Store Pickup

Online orders may be picked up at any participating Super King Markets location. Once your order is ready, a ShopSK team member will notify you via the email address and/or phone number provided at checkout. Orders may be picked up inside the store at the ShopSK Counter located in the liquor department.

To pick up an order, the customer must present the order number (printed, text message, or email), a valid government-issued photo ID, and the credit card used to place the order. Orders will only be released once all details are verified, the customer confirms they are of legal drinking age, and the customer inspects and approves the items. A signed acknowledgment of receipt in good condition is required at pickup. No exceptions.

Please allow 2–3 hours for in-store pickup order processing. Orders placed after 5:00 PM are not guaranteed same-day pickup and are subject to availability. A ShopSK team member will contact the customer if there are any issues with the order.

Unclaimed pickup orders will be held for 7 days from the date of fulfillment. Failure to pick up within this period will result in a refund to the original form of payment, less a 20% restocking fee.

Option 2

Same-Day Local Delivery

Local same-day alcohol delivery is available only in Los Angeles and Orange County. Delivery fees vary based on the option selected at checkout. Customers may choose from available delivery windows during checkout. Orders placed after 5:00 PM are not guaranteed same-day delivery and will automatically be scheduled for the next available delivery window and charged the corresponding delivery fee.

An adult of legal drinking age must be present to accept delivery. A valid government-issued photo ID and a signature are required at the time of delivery. Any special delivery instructions must be added at checkout before the order is finalized.

Failed delivery attempts: if no person of legal drinking age is available to accept the order, a re-delivery will be attempted on the next business day. The customer will be charged a re-delivery fee equal to the original delivery fee (if applicable). Customers are responsible for ensuring an eligible recipient is available during the selected delivery window.

Option 3

GLS Ground Shipping (California Only)

Ground shipping is ONLY available within the State of California. Customers are responsible for verifying whether wine and spirits may legally be shipped to their address under state and local laws. The buyer accepts full responsibility for compliance with all applicable laws and affirms they are legally permitted to receive alcohol at the provided address.

Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight of the product and destination address. Alcoholic beverages will not be sold or shipped to anyone under the age of 21. The delivery carrier will require proof of age and an adult signature at delivery, and may scan and briefly handle a valid government-issued ID. Special delivery instructions must be added at the time the order is placed.

Processing & Transit Times

Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST: processed the same business day (excluding weekends and holidays). Delivery typically occurs within 2–3 business days after shipment.

Customers will receive an email confirmation once the order has been processed, including a tracking number to monitor shipment progress at gls-us.com.

The shipping carrier will make multiple delivery attempts before returning the order to ShopSK. Returned shipments may be re-shipped at the customer’s expense.

Schedule

Non-Business Days & Holidays

Shipping orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Non-business days include Saturdays, Sundays, and the following holidays:

New Year’s Day · Memorial Day · Independence Day · Labor Day · Thanksgiving Day · Christmas Day

Pickup and delivery schedules surrounding holidays may vary. Packages scheduled for delivery on a holiday will be delivered on the next business day according to the selected service level.

Liability

Carrier Responsibility

Once an order is transferred to the carrier, ShopSK is not responsible for carrier delays, transit issues, or lost or damaged packages. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring accurate delivery information and availability.

Important Notes

Address Restrictions & Verification

Alcohol products cannot be shipped to APO, FPO, PO Boxes, or international addresses. All shipping and processing times apply to business days only (Monday–Friday).

Most orders ship promptly after verification; however, some orders may be delayed due to availability or verification requirements. If delays occur, a ShopSK customer service representative will contact the customer with updates or alternative options.

The billing address provided at checkout must match the billing address on file with the issuing credit card bank. Orders will not be shipped or released until address verification and age verification are successfully completed.

Fees

Fees & Charges

Approved cancellations, unclaimed pickup orders, refused deliveries, returned shipments, and other orders requiring reversal or restocking may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%, in addition to any applicable shipping, delivery, or handling charges, except where prohibited by law.
