Hennessy Ginger

Most people who enjoy Cognac like to have it straight. The exception, however, almost always, is made for the Hennessy Ginger cocktail. It’s a simple mix of 1 part Hennessy and 2 parts ginger ale. Due to the spice character of this drink, a single lime is encouraged to add some tang to the drink and curl to the tongue.

What you’ll need:

• 1 ½  oz Hennessy
• 3 ½ Ginger Ale
• 1 Lime

How to make it:

Now it’s time to make the cocktail. This drink is absurdly simple to make and should take no longer than 45 seconds once your ingredients are ready. No shaker or separate mixing glass is required.

1. In a short glass — old fashioned or rocks glass— pour your cognac. There should be nothing in the cup but the cognac.
2. Next, add your ice cubes till the brim.
3. Top off with ginger ale pouring it evenly on the ice.
4. Squeeze a few drops of lime juice in there and garnish your glass with a wedge.
