The Dry Martini is one of the most common cocktails ordered at bars and restaurants — and for good reason. The taste of the drink is spirit-forward (you’ll be tasting the liquor more than anything else) so it’s perfect for a slower-pace environment where you may sip the cocktail. Also, the aesthetic of the drink is flawless, looking like the purest waters.
What you’ll need:
How to make it:
Now it’s time to make the Dry Martini cocktail. Make sure to have a separate glass for mixing filled with ice. Have the glass you’ll be using for the actual drink, preferably a coupe or even rocks glass, filled with fresh ice. The ice in the mixing glass will be left behind.
- Fill your mixing glass with all of your ingredients with ice and stir. This drink is only best when cold so keep stirring till, preferably you can’t no more. The drink will sit out a little longer due to it’s right-for-sipping nature so the longer it can stay cold, the better.
- Strain the drink into a cocktail glass, leaving the ice behind to avoid dilution.
- If you have a lemon twist, don’t be afraid to garnish the glass with it. Olives are a great touch as well
