Familia Camarena Anejo is a tequila crafted exclusively from 100% blue agave, distilled by the Camarena family, who have cultivated agave in the Jalisco Highlands (Los Altos) since 1860. The agave hearts, known as piñas, undergo slow roasting in traditional stone ovens over several days. The extracted juices are then fermented and distilled. Following distillation, the Anejo is aged for one year in barrels previously used for bourbon.
