The limited-edition tequila is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, featuring an añejo tequila that has undergone a unique 26-month aging process. Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco aged the spirit in American whiskey casks before splitting it into two batches—one finished in Scotch whisky casks from the Isle of Skye and the other in casks from the Speyside region.
The two batches were then blended to create a tequila with remarkable depth and complexity. The result is a spirit with a rich aromatic profile of honey, peat smoke, nutmeg, and dried plum, complemented by flavors of cinnamon, chocolate, and a smoky finish. The smoky undertones derive from the Scotch whisky casks, particularly from the traditional use of burning peat to dry malted barley in the Isle of Skye.
