This unique blend is created from Fortaleza's still-strength Blanco, bottled at cask strength (46.5% ABV), and aged in both French and American oak barrels. The French oak casks previously held Spanish Cream Sherry, imparting a rich, complex depth of flavor, while the American oak adds warmth and smoothness. The resulting reposado combines the distinctive characteristics of both barrels, with flavors of creamy sherry notes, roasted agave, oak, and a touch of spice.
This reposado embodies Fortaleza's dedication to traditional tequila-making methods. Stone ground, estate bottled, and made from 100% blue weber agave, it reflects a pure, unfiltered expression of the agave plant, enhanced by sophisticated barrel aging.
