The Margarita Cocktail was created in 1938 in honor of a beautiful Mexican showgirl name Rita de la Rosa. A bartender, inspired by her electrifying performance, improvised a cocktail to capture her heart with Cuervo and the flavor of Mexican limones. Ever since then the Cuervo Margarita continues to capture the hearts of so many around the world.
